My daughter Erin, and I decided to make this kayak after paddling a few kayaks at a Learn to Paddler Day (in early June, 2005) put on by CanoeSport Outfitter in Plattesmouth, NE.
	The Cape Ann Storm LT, a design by Vaclav Stejskal, is a 16.5' long by 21.5" wide sea kayak. It is built for smaller paddlers with the ideal capacity between 140-180lbs.
	I received my plans within just a couple of days after ordering. Vaclav mentions that he will answer questions from builders of his kayaks, and he lives up to that promise. His correspondence has been rapid and complete! With the purchase of his plans, you also gain access to his web-building resources.
From Vaclav....."You will find this kayak very responsive, maneuverable and easy to turn even in the winding channels of tidal marshes and small bodies of water such as ponds. A cruising kayak of this length can also be easily paddled in the flow of slower rivers."
